We always love sharing our favorite restaurants in Vallejo, because we all know the one that unifies us all is a love of good food. PHO #1 Noodle House is one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. This Vietnamese restaurant in Vallejo serves delicious pho and other noodle dishes in a bright, colorful space. If you love pho, you won’t want to miss this Vallejo favorite, especially on a cool, rainy day.

One of the perks of living so close to the ocean is access to fresh fish. Blazin Fish and Chips serves fresh fish made-to-order that’s piping hot and delicious. Choose from a variety of different fish and chip combinations including catfish, tilapia, red snapper, cod, sole fish as well as oysters and shrimp, all fried to perfection. Not a fish fan? Try the fried chicken, burgers or a hoagie.

At the end of a long day, whether working in your storage unit or otherwise, sometimes the best solution is a great dive bar. My Office Bar & Grill is one of our favorite dive bars in Vallejo. My Office has good food, pool tables, and ping pong, which makes it a great place to visit with friends. Head outside and toss horseshoes or darts. Don’t worry, the outdoor portion of My Office is screened off so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Don’t forget to try the shrimp and grits!

Get ready for a close up with one of your favorite animals or discover Odin’s Temple of the Tiger, a live show offering a glimpse into the life of one of the tigers at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. View the power and agility of bottlenose dolphins or watch the engaging Wildlife Experience. From rides to shows to dinner, you’ll love spending the day at Six Flags.

The Empress Theatre is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. This performing arts venue in Vallejo hosts a year-round schedule of performances including dramatic theater, children’s shows, boxing matches, and live music. The Empress has incredible architecture as well as a smaller, classy lounge-style bar that hosts intimate events. This gorgeous piece of history dating back more than a century is located in downtown Vallejo.
