Vacaville Community Mural
At Security Public Storage, we believe in celebrating the communities we serve. We’re excited to unveil our 16th community mural, painted by the artist Jerry Ragg of Mural Decor. Located at our Vacaville – Monte Vista facility, this mural is a tribute to the citizens of Vacaville and the surrounding neighborhoods, highlighting the unique beauty, culture, and history of our area.
Celebrating Vacaville
This mural is our 16th community mural and one of our most ambitious projects to date, spanning 7 panels and covering nearly 4,200 square feet. Each panel is a testament to the distinct elements that make Vacaville such a special place:
Vacaville Arts Trail: This panel celebrates the vibrant arts community in Vacaville, showcasing the talent and creativity that define the Vacaville Arts Trail.
Biotech and Pharmaceuticals: Highlighting our region’s cutting-edge biotech and pharmaceutical industries, this panel features imagery of double helixes, robotics, and pharmaceutical elements.
Founding Families – Vaca & Buck: Honoring the Vaca and Buck families, this panel pays tribute to the founders whose legacy continues to shape Vacaville.
Fiesta Days: Capturing the joy and spirit of Fiesta Days, this panel celebrates our annual community festival, a time-honored tradition of cultural celebration and unity.
Vacaville: Prominently featuring the city’s name, this panel reinforces our pride in being part of the Vacaville community.
Andrews Park: Depicting Andrews Park, the largest and most historic park in Vacaville, this panel highlights a cherished gathering place for residents.
Sunflowers: Celebrating the agricultural richness of our region, this panel showcases the beautiful sunflower fields of Dixon and the surrounding areas, one of California’s top sources of sunflowers.
