The Old Sacramento Waterfront was founded in 1849 and has been a gathering place since that time. This 8-block area includes a visitors center, museums and a variety of historical tours. You’ll find over 125 shopping, dining, events and attractions in the beautiful Old Sacramento Waterfront District. The Old Sacramento Waterfront hosts a variety of great events for all ages including the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. You can also take advantage of the River City Queen, Sacramento’s premier boat venue for birthday parties, corporate events and more.
For many of us, a visit to the Sacramento Zoo is an essential part of childhood. The Sacramento Zoo leads with animal welfare at the forefront of their operations.
