We’re so fortunate to have many great green spaces and natural areas near our storage facility in Walnut Creek. One of our favorite places is the Lindsay Wildlife Experience. This facility acts as part zoo, part natural history museum and part wildlife hospital. Lindsay Wildlife Experience allows children to learn about and experience local wildlife, focusing specifically on those creatures native to California. Watch as animals are fed, learn about their habitats and touch certain types of animals like rabbits and turtles. Lindsay Wildlife Experience also hosts special events like the Valentine’s Day-themed event Kiss & Tail, which includes live music and animal guests.

Heather Farm Park is another great way to get outside and connect with your wild side. This 102-acre preserve includes a skate park, sports fields, a dog park and a swimming complex.
