This 2.8 mile hike features a lightly trafficked out-and-back trail with scenic views. This hike is appropriate for all skill levels, which makes it great for families. You’ll often find people hiking, walking and running with their leashed dogs at Drake’s Point.

Another way to get outside in Vacaville is to visit Pleasants Valley Riding Arena, a horse boarding and training facility. This family-owned and operated equestrian facility offers horse boarding, covered pens and more than two miles of trails throughout the 100+ acre ranch. At Pleasants Valley Riding Arena, both children and adults can take lessons in roping, penning, and sorting. This is the place to learn and sharpen your horseback riding skills.
