A Taste of
Sparks

You won’t have to drive far from SPS Sparks to enjoy a tasty, well-deserved meal after visiting your storage unit. Our location on the west side of Sparks places us convenient to a variety of great restaurants, breweries, cafes and markets. No matter what you’re in the mood for, the odds are good that you’ll find it within minutes of SPS Sparks.

On the south side of I-80, you’ll be in for a treat when you visit Carlillos Cocina. This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant will have you dreaming of their authentic Mexican cuisine. Stop by in the morning before visiting your storage unit and fuel up with a breakfast burrito from Carlillos. With great portions and prompt service, you’ll want to make Carlillos a regular part of your Sparks dining experience.

At the end of a long day, we love heading over to Revision Brewing Company to enjoy a cold and delicious IPA. Revision is known for having a great beer selection as well as a friendly and helpful staff. The brewery hosts different events throughout the year and you can occasionally catch live music here. Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of IPAs, the local brewery offers flights in a range of styles so you can find the perfect brew for you.

Sparks
of Imagination

We’re proud to be a part of a community with a vibrant and active art scene. Local artists and makers can be found throughout town, including at various annual events and festivals like the Nugget Best in the West Rib Cookoff, 3rd Thursdays in June and July, the Water Lantern Festival and the Honey and Lavender Festival.

The Sparks Art Walk is a curated collection that regularly showcases art throughout Victorian Square in downtown. The event invites artists to temporarily display select works in different locations. The event celebrates Sparks’ historical and aesthetic values and promotes public participation and interaction with art and the artists. 39 North Downtown and Sierra Arts Foundation host monthly “art walks” as part of the 3rd Thursday events downtown.

The Generator has been a welcome addition to the Sparks art community. This community art and makerspace includes 34,000 square feet of workspace with industrial equipment. Many Burning Man projects are born here, as well as other art installations that can be seen throughout the community.

The Great
Outdoors

Sparks is a great place to live and we love spending our summer nights watching the latest blockbuster on the big screen at West Wind El Rancho 4 Drive-In. Have you ever been to a drive-in movie theater? They may be fewer and farther between these days, but we’re fortunate enough to have a multi-screen drive-in only minutes away from SPS Sparks. Finish unloading your storage unit and then relax with a hot dog and some popcorn at the Drive-In.

There are a lot of great ways to spend your free time in Sparks. We’re close to Lake Tahoe, which makes taking your boat out a breeze, especially if you store with us at SPS Sparks. Pyramid Lake is another local favorite that’s nearby. Living in this beautiful area of Sparks, near Reno and Lake Tahoe places you in the ideal environment for enjoying the great outdoors, just outside your front door.
