Maya Thai Laos Restaurant is both one of the closest restaurants to SPS San Pablo, and also one of the best Thai restaurants in town. You’ll quickly make Maya Thai your regular destination when visiting your storage unit, because it’s that good. Try the fresh rolls with shrimp and dunk them into the delicious peanut sauce. We also love the drunken noodles and the Tom Yum soup. All of the food comes out quickly and served hot, you won’t want to wait for it to cool off to begin eating!
For birthday celebrations and special occasions, La Strada is one of our go-to restaurants for delicious homemade Italian food in a cozy setting. Homemade Italian dishes are served in a room with fireplace seating, arched windows and murals of the Tuscan countryside. The food is always consistent, which means you’ll always be pleased with your eggplant parmesan, calamari, lasagna, ravioli and all the rest. Be sure to save room for dessert because you’ll be kicking yourself at home for missing out on the tiramisu or creme brulee.
Before moving into your storage unit at SPS San Pablo, we highly recommend visiting Cafe Soleil for a proper breakfast and all the energy you’ll need for the day. It’s only a quarter mile down the road from us and open for breakfast and lunch daily. We love going to Cafe Soleil for the friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic food. The food has a strong French influence, but doesn’t follow the strict traditions for which that style of cuisine is known. Come in for a Polish sausage omelet and start your day off right.

Get Outside and Connect With Nature
One of the perks of living in San Pablo is all of the access to the great outdoors. Our favorite place to get outside is nearby Wildcat Canyon Regional Park. This spacious park includes miles of multi-use trails, as well as a picnic area and children’s playground. Enjoy beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, and both San Francisco and San Pablo Bay. Wander through the grove of eucalyptus trees during a hike and you’ll be treated to their amazing smell.
San Pablo Reservoir, located southeast of SPS San Pablo, offers visitors to this dog-friendly park ample opportunities for hiking, fishing and boating. Bring your group to San Pablo Reservoir and either rent a boat or bring your own for a fun day on the water. This beautiful and peaceful park offers a relaxing environment to connect with nature. You won’t regret spending summer evenings walking along the shoreline.
