Delicious
Dining in Pinole

Pinole has a few great spots to grab a slice, but our favorite pizza restaurant is Chicago’s Pizza With a Twist just down the road in El Sobrante, California. Chicago’s Pizza With a Twist serves up traditional and fusion pizzas and wings that you’ll crave. Think Tandoori Chicken pizzas and naan breadsticks. They also have gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and Halal options, which means there’s something for everyone at Chicago’s Pizza With a Twist. Don’t sleep on the crispy cauliflower crust if you’re looking for a great gluten-free option.

Located in historic Downtown Pinole, Nu Gu Na dishes up Korean and Japanese cuisine. You can always count on Nu Gu Na for consistently delicious food, good customer service and imported Korean and Japanese beers. Stop in for lunch or dinner and enjoy traditional Korean favorites like the Bibimbap or the Bulgogi bento box. The ambiance at Nu Gu Na makes it great for date night or an impromptu lunch with your friends.

Speaking of date night, have you ever been to Pinole Creek Cafe? This refined restaurant features steak and seafood for dinner only in a white-tabcloth setting. We love treating ourselves to a steak dinner at this great restaurant located in a historic Victorian home, you may even feel like you’re dining at a friend’s home, that’s the special kind of experience you get at Pinole Creek Cafe. We have a feeling this little cafe will easily become one of your favorite restaurants in Pinole.

Sunsets at
Bayfront Park

We love a good sunset. In fact, many evenings after work you can find us at Bayfront Park admiring the day’s colorful sunset from a park bench. Bayfront Park is an awesome place to hike, jog, walk your dog, start a bike ride or sit and take in the stunning views. People flock to Bayfront Park for the spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Pablo Bay. Bayfront Park has several off-leash areas for dogs and their owners, which makes this a great park to visit with your canine companions.

Point Pinole Regional Shoreline is another great place to get outside. This sprawling park has scenic multi-use trails that crawl through meadows, eucalyptus woods, bluffs and beaches. Point Pinole Regional Shoreline includes access to the San Francisco Bay Trail, Point Pinole Pier and the Point Pinole hiking area. People often visit Pinole Pier for fishing, where you may be lucky enough to catch different fish and crabs.
