Storing Wine
at the Correct Temperature

It’s essential for wine collectors to store wines at the correct temperature in order to allow them to age appropriately and preserve their integrity. All wines should avoid high heat as temperatures above 70 degrees Fahrenheit cause them to age faster. These higher temperatures may cause your wines to “cook”, which results in flat aromas and flavors.

Storing temperature and serving temperature vary, which is important to know when storing red and white wine. The ideal wine storage temperature for both red and white wine is 55 degrees, which helps prevent the risk of premature aging, regardless of serving temperature. White wines may need to be chilled after removing them from storage, but we think you’ll be satisfied with the quality of the wine storage in this environment.
