If you’re planning on loading up on caffeine before tackling your storage unit or moving, we definitely recommend Weird Brothers Coffee. This little coffee shop located just down the street from SPS Herndon serves up everything from your basic black coffee all the way up to tastefully blended coffee concoctions. The shop itself has beautiful art and fun collectibles on display and the service is great. We love grabbing a coffee and a pastry before heading to our Herndon storage facility.

Another one of our favorite local eateries is PassionFish Reston, a bi-level restaurant dedicated to fresh fish from the world’s oceans, rivers, lakes and waterways. The seasonal menu at PassionFish celebrates the flavors and traditional techniques from our global coasts, from ceviches to crispy whole fish. The restaurant also has a dedicated sushi chef and an impressive raw bar. Be sure to cast your line out and catch PassionFish on your next date night.

We love digging into the cultural and historical heritage of our little corner of Virginia. Both the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center and the Artsinsights Gallery of Film and Contemporary Art call Herndon home. The Udvar-Hazy Center is the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum’s annex at the Washington Dulles International Airport. The museum holds many different exhibits, including the Space Shuttle Discovery and the Gemini 7 space capsule. You’ll be mesmerized  by all of the different types of aircrafts and the different aviation exhibits to explore.

Located in the Reston Town Center, Artsinsights Gallery of Film and Contemporary Art specializes in animation and film arts. The gallery includes original production artwork and limited edition pieces, as well as illustrative art. The gallery often hosts official production and concept artwork from specific artists in the film industry.
