Full Belliesin Frederick
Frederick offers diners a bustling and vibrant food scene. Several years ago, chef Bryan Voltaggio competed in Top Chef and put our small town on the map with his fine dining restaurant Volt. Since then, Volt has been changed to Thacher & Rye and fills the space of a historic former mansion on Market Street. The restaurant features seasonally inspired cuisine, locally sourced ingredients and an elegant but relaxed atmosphere.
When you walk into Firestone’s Culinary Tavern, you’ll feel transported to an old-west saloon and restaurant. This former department store serves amazing food and drinks with an ever-changing menu. This is one of our favorite spots to people watch. Grab a seat upstairs by the window and watch the shoppers, dog walkers, cars and locals walk by. The bar carries rum, whiskey, vodka and gin from local distilleries and includes a variety of local beers on tap.
When you ask locals where to go for the best Mexican food in Frederick, many people will tell you Fajita Grande. We love the Top Shelf margarita and are partial to the enchiladas. The prices are fair and Fajita Grande is a great place to dine with children. Expect great service and great Mexican food at Fajita Grande in Frederick, MD.
