For Terry Hemenes, rebuilding Security Public Storage after the devastating Tubbs fire in October 2017 is personal. Terry’s parents came to SPS Santa Rosa in the mid-1990s to be the location’s first On-Site Managers when we acquired the property from ABC Mini Storage. Then Terry’s twin sister managed the property for 19 years before Terry took over as the On-Site Manager 6 years ago.

How much time do you have? Because it would take years to visit the sites and enjoy the activities this area of California has to offer! The rich heritage of Salinas is celebrated through two large murals commissioned by Security Public Storage for their facility located here.
The second mural has just been completed this month (May 2019). Spanning the entire south face of the SPS facility, it is the largest in the Salinas area and is clearly visible from Hwy 101.
We at SPS truly value our relationships with our customers. We care about making positive contributions to the neighborhoods and regions we serve and we actively look for ways to make a difference that reflect each local community’s unique history and culture.
The mural just unveiled at our 471 C Street Chula Vista location is one example. Completed in 2018, it celebrates the landscape and history of Chula Vista, a community nestled between San Diego Bay to the west and rolling coastal hills and canyons to the east.
