This year marks the 24th consecutive year that Security Public Storage has participated in the annual U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots donation drive. We are ecstatic to announce that we have again topped our previous year’s donation total by collecting 4,113 toys to help area children enjoy a happy holiday. That’s 1,026 more toys donated than in 2020, which itself was a 939 toys increase over 2019. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our staff, customers and neighbors who donated to this cause that’s very near to our hearts.
Another Record Broken for Toys for Tots Donations
In our second year of a global pandemic, it’s difficult to gauge what kind of turn out we would have for our annual Toys for Tots donation program. Luckily, the kindness of strangers prevails once again with our largest number of toys ever donated. Thank you to everyone who donated, who shared our posts on social media and helped bring awareness to this cause that provides gifts to children that may not otherwise receive them. Each of the last several years we have broken the record from the previous year and we couldn’t be prouder of our communities.
One of our most notable donations this year came in San Mateo. Lourdes and Alexis partnered with local businesses including Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Chicago Title in Daly City to donate four large boxes filled with toys for the Toys for Tots drive. These women have been ongoing supporters of Toys for Tots at SPS for many years and we’re honored they continue to support this cause through our company.

Because of your kindness and generosity, more children than ever will be receiving gifts collected from our donation drive.
