Donate to Toys for Tots at SPS Locations Beginning November 1

It’s our favorite time of year at Security Public Storage — Toys for Tots donation season. This year marks the 25th consecutive year that SPS has teamed up with the US Marine Corp Toys for Tots donation drive, our 8th year with 100% participation by all of our facilities! We’re extremely honored to participate in this worthy and heartwarming cause, bringing joy to families throughout the local communities we call home. We continue this annual tradition with donation bins at all SPS locations starting Tuesday, November 1, through Friday, December 2, 2022.

Bring Joy to Families by Donating to Toys for Tots

Last year, we proudly collected 4,113 toys to help area children enjoy a happy holiday, which was 1,026 more toys donated than in 2020. We’re thrilled to be able to continue helping more and more families each year thanks to the extremely generous donations of our customers, staff and members from the communities at large. This year, we’ve set a new goal, a new record of 5,000 toys. We hope you’ll help us help the youth of our communities by donating new toys at the SPS location nearest you.

Donations are collected for one month and we track the progress on the Toys for Tots page of our website, with a red thermometer to visualize our progress to the goal. You can check out this page every week and see how close we’re getting to this big goal, as well as learn more about our involvement with the organization over the years.

About Toys for Tots

Diane Henricks, wife of Marine Corp Reserve Major Bill Henricks, inspired her husband to found an agency that supports children. Toys for Tots emerged as an annual holiday tradition and has grown to distribute toys to 7 million children each year. At SPS, we believe in the Marine Corps’ goal to bring the joy of Christmas and to send a message of hope to children in America. Participating in this annual donations on drive over the past 25 years has been a passion of ours and we’re thrilled to continue the tradition year after year.

Donate to Toys for Tots November 1 – December 2

Join us in helping children and families in our local communities by donating to Toys for Tots at SPS. We have locations throughout the West Coast, as well as in the Washington DC metro area. Donations made at your local facility directly help families in your community. Collection begins at SPS facilities on Tuesday, November 1, and will be accepting newly purchased toys though the end of the day on Friday, December 2, 2022. We can’t wait to make our 25th consecutive year collecting donations the most successful Toys for Tots season yet.
