Terra Nebulo Vineyards also features authentic architecture, including the winery itself, which is a faithful reproduction of a 100-year-old hay barn. Bike and Hike in Ashburn, VA
The W&OD Trail runs through the northern part of Ashburn and attracts visitors from all over the state. Known as the “skinniest park in Virginia,” the W&OD trail stretches 45 miles from Alexandria northwest to Bluemont. The trail is only 100 feet wide and follows the path of the old W&OD railroad. Ashburn’s part of the trail runs approximately six miles, from mile marker 28 to 34. The W&OD trail attracts bikers, hikers, rollerbladers and runners, and even the occasional horseback rider on the adjoining bridle path.
