The 50th self storage facility to join the SPS family is located in Fresno, CA, on Marks Ave. Please join us in celebrating this major milestone for Security Public Storage, which is also our third self-storage facility in Fresno.

SPS started 37 years ago with one self storage facility and has grown to now include 50 locations on the West Coast and in the Washington D.C. metro area. With the addition of the Fresno Marks Ave. location, we maintain our same core values that have defined SPS since the very beginning:

We’ve heard feedback from customers who in the past have had their self storage facility go under new ownership. Maybe they have been through the process multiple times, which can be a hassle. We want to assure our customers in Fresno, and across the country, that isn’t the case with SPS. Our company has never sold a storage facility. We have only acquired, adding to our family of storage facilities. We’re here for the long-term and look forward to an ongoing relationship with our customers.
Introducing the Fresno Marks Ave. Storage Location
Our new self-storage facility in Fresno on Marks Ave. has an interesting history. Previous to being a storage facility, the building was an ice skating rink. Gateway Ice Center didn’t move far, as their new ice rink is located next door to the SPS Fresno Marks Ave. facility! Many Fresno residents know the Gateway Ice Rink and the previous owners of our new facility even advertised that they were next door to the ice skating facility on their website and when giving directions.
Our customers in Fresno will appreciate the convenience of the Marks Ave. facility, as it’s located right off of the freeway for easy access. Marks Ave. features drive-up and interior storage units in Fresno to meet a variety of storage needs. We plan to upgrade this facility over the course of the next year, which means our renters can look forward to:

- New Signage
- Replacement of Interior Doors
- And More!
As with any acquisition, upgrading the facility will take time, but we look forward to elevating this location to meet the SPS core values and 5-star standards that our customers have come to expect from our storage facilities.
