Security Public Storage Dedicates New Mural in Manteca, CA

Storage facilities often feature long blank exterior walls, often facing long stretches of well-driven roads. Here at Security Public Storage, it’s our honor to always provide Self Storage with a Difference™, but turning our gigantic walls into gorgeous large-scale murals is one of our favorite ways to make an impact on our communities. Adding these stunning works of art to our buildings help enhance and thank the neighborhoods we serve. This month, we dedicate our latest large-scale community mural at our Manteca storage facility.

Celebrating Manteca’s Treasures

SPS dedicates our newest, vibrant mural to the citizens of Manteca and the surrounding area. We feel that our mural, affectionately titled, “Manteca’s Treatures”, celebrates the rich heritage of the region. “Manteca’s Treasures” covers nearly 3,300 square feet, measuring in at 330-feet long, making it one of our longest murals to date.

Jerry Ragg of Mural Decor designed and painted the mural in Manteca. Jerry has worked with SPS since 2018, designing and painting more than half of our 14 community murals, so far.

We’ve invited our customers and the community to join us on Wednesday, May 31, from 9am-12pm at SPS Manteca, as we dedicate our newest mural. Enjoy refreshments and fun mural takeaways. If you’re in Manteca on May 31, we’d love for you to join the celebration and see this beautiful mural in person. We’re lucky that photographers capture great photos of the mural, but as with most art — it’s better to see it in person. We look forward to seeing you there!

A Gift to the Manteca Community

As with each of our community murals, this installation of public art is our gift to the citizens of Manteca and the surrounding area. The Manteca area has a rich history and we’re honored to be able to display a glimpse into the heritage of this amazing community.
